We believe that an early introduction to structured team sport can lay the foundations for good cardiovascular health as Children grow into young adolescents. We also believe that it has the potential to bring benefits to a child’s brain – in particular, their ability to concentrate, gain self confidence and discipline as well as refining their motor skills and supporting their physical development. We also believe that an early introduction to sport at kindergarten age will make it more likely that children will participate in extra curricular sporting activities in their schooling years, to promote a healthy, active lifestyle as they grow.
At Tarneit ELC, we’ve introduced a Kindergarten football program, that is run once each week at St Goddard Street oval between 10:00am and 11:00am.
The sessions are structured around the AFL Auskick football Program.
Please chat with Rachael Barlow at Tarneit ELC if you would like to learn more about the program.
